Persona 5 Whiskey

Japan loves collaborations, especially collaborations between video game franchises and a variety of products that apparently have nothing to do with them. Today, we learn about Persona's whiskey.

Atlus has collaborated with the well-known Wakatsuru Distillery from Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, to create a series of Whiskey bottles dedicated to the series.

The first release will happen tomorrow with two different bottles. The first is the Saburomaru x Persona Blended Whiskey, a 700 ml bottle decorated by label portraying the protagonists and main personas from Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal.

The price is 8,800 yen including taxes, translating into $63.57.

The second bottle is Single Cask Saburomaru P3P #200073, featuring Persona 3 Portable on its 700 ml bottle. This is a 250-units limited edition distilled for 3 years in the Bourbon cask #200073 (hence the name). Accordingly, it costs a whopping 21,978 yen including taxes, translating into $159 at the current exchange rates.

Two more bottles are coming at a later date, featuring Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal. They will be released respectively on August 17, 2023 and September 15, 2023, named Single Cask Saburomaru
P4G #190095 and Single Cask Saburomaru P5R #220001.

In more Persona news, recently, we saw the reveal of Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5 Tactica, and Metaphor ReFantazio. The first is a remake of the popular mainline entry in the series, th second is a tactics-style JRPG based following the story of Persona 5, while the third is a fully new high fantasy JRPG by the creators of Persona 5.
