Today the Asian arm of Sega released a relevant video of the upcoming Tactics JRPG Persona 5 Tactica

The video is the same one that was published in Japanese a couple of weeks ago, but today we finally get English subtitles so we can all understand the details.

First of all, we take a look at one of the main settings of the game, Yoshiki's Kingdom, which is quite different from Marie's Kingdom. It's similar to ancient Japan and it's basically a surveillance state. Our heroes will also have to disguise themselves with really cute themed costumes.

We then get an introduction to four of the phantom thieves, Yosuke Kitagawa, Makoto Nijima, Futaba Sakura, and Haru Okumura.

Moving on to gameplay, we hear about switching between characters in battle, positioning advantages, enemy types, the baton pass mechanic to replace fallen comrades, and difficulty options, including safety, easy, normal, hard, and risky. You can change difficulty at any time.

The video continues with the reveal of the game's Velvet Room, which this time around has a steampunk theme and is handled by Lavenza herself. You can use the Velvet Room to do your persona fusions as usual.

Next, we take a look at the Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack day-one DLC, which will star Violet and Crow. They will also join the fight with Robin Hood and Cendrilion.

You can watch the video below.

Persona 5 Tactica will release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 17, 2023.
