Paizo and BKOM Studios have announced that Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors, a Vampire Survivors-style roguelite auto-shooter, is leaving Early Access next month.

Per a press release, Gallowspire Survivors 1.0 launches on PC via Steam on April 4th, having been on release via Early Access since September last year

Of course, the 1.0 release of Gallowspire Survivors will come with a host of improvements, many of which have been "highly requested" by the game's community, according to BKOM.

Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors will get a range of improvements for its 1.0 release.

These improvements include local co-op support, so you can team up with a friend in the same room, as well as UI improvements and gameplay balance tweaks.

You can also look forward to Steam Remote Play support and Steam Deck compatibility, and I'm guessing that Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors is exactly the kind of game you'll want to play on your Steam Deck if you've got one.

To accompany the Gallowspire Survivors 1.0 announcement, Paizo and BKOM have released a trailer showing off some of the game's frantic RPG-inflected roguelite action. You can check that trailer out right here.

If you haven't played Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors, it's a roguelite auto-shooter set in the world of the Pathfinder tabletop RPG (and, of course, Owlcat's video game adaptations Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous).

The game has you (and optionally another player taking the role of your companion) delving into dungeons and slaying the minions of the Whispering Tyrant Tar-Baphon, who is threatening a grand return.

You can play as either a fighter, a wizard, or a rogue, and as you fight, you'll gain access to talent points that can be used to specialize your character according to your preferred playstyle.

Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors launches for PC via Steam on April 4th. The game is currently available on Steam via Early Access for $6.99, and if you pick it up now, you won't have to pay again when the full version launches.
