Today Blizzard Entertainment has released a new trailer focusing on the upcoming Season 5 of Overwatch 2.
We get to see the many skins that will become available during the season, including the previously revealed Demon Lord Reinhardt and Mythic Adventure Tracer which will unlock at levels 45, 65, and 80 of the Battle Pass.
We also get a glimpse of further modes and events that will become available during the season like the Prop Hunt mode titled "Mischief & Magic," the Summer Games 2023 with Winston's Beach Volleyball and the return of Lúcioball, the World Cup qualifiers, and the "Calling" animated short that will premiere directly in the game.

Incidentally, recently Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the roadmap including season 7 and beyond, so we already have a partial idea of what further seasons will entail.
Unfortunately, the developer has also announced that it has scrapped its original plans for PvE, which included a dedicated hero experience including talent trees and long-term power progression. Instead, it will release more limited PvE-focused and story-driven events with a semi-regular cadence. Part of that content, coming in Season 6, was revealed during the Xbox Showcase.
Overwatch 2, which is currently in its season 4 for a few more days, is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It's free-to-play, so you can try it out without a purchase, but, of course, it has plenty of optional microtransactions.
