Overwatch 2 Season 5 Mythic Adventurer Tracer

Today Blizzard has teased the reveal of the new season for Overwatch 2, which will launch on June 13.

While the full reveal won't happen until June 12 at 11:00 a.m. PDT; 2:00 p.m. EDT, 7:00 p.m BST, or 8:00 p.m. CEST, depending on where you live, today we get a small appetizer in the form of a mythic skin for Tracer.

Interestingly, the Mythic Adventurer Tracer Skin comes in three different stages which will presumably be unlocked at different levels of the battle pass, with the first two stages unlocking at levels 45 and 65 and the last more "knightly" stage unlocking at level 80.

This appears to be part of the "Mischief & Magic" theme that was revealed a few weeks ago. You can check out the skin (which is really cute) below.

Incidentally, recently Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the roadmap including season 7 and beyond, so we already have a partial idea of what Season 5 will entail.

Unfortunately, the developer has also announced that it has scrapped its original plans for PvE, which included a dedicated hero experience including talent trees and long-term power progression. Instead, it will release more limited PvE-focused and story-driven events with a semi-regular cadence.

Overwatch 2, which is currently in its season 4 for a few more days, is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It's free-to-play, so you can try it out without a purchase, but, of course, it has plenty of optional microtransactions.
