Overcooked! 2's latest update, Sun's Out, Buns Out, has been released on Steam. The update contains two new canine chefs that will be joining the kitchen.
What is Overcooked 2!? Well, you cook to get the highest score, essentially. It can be done alone or in local and online multiplayer either with or against people. Players can cook with a variety of recipes that can be utilized to get a better score, which in Overcooked!'s world is all that matters in the end.
What's also included in the update are summer recipes such as an ice cream float and a summer salad, five new kitchens to cook in, and fireworks, confetti, and festival floats to "spice up your game". That's a big feat, especially considering that players work in a kitchen so their game will already be pretty spicy, am I right?
If players want to access this new content they will have to launch their game and then go into the 'Extras' screen on the main menu. Players will then click on 'Seasonal Updates' where all the other free Seasonal Updates have been released, which now includes Sun's Out, Buns Out.
Overcooked! 2 is 40% off on Steam at the moment for $14.99. If you really want to get into Overcooked! 2, you can also check out the Gourmet Edition, which includes DLC such as the Too Many Cooks Pack, Surf 'n' Turf, and the Season Pass. There's also a Overcooked! 1 & 2 bundle that can be handled (because it's hot, get it?) for $17.31, which is a pretty decent deal if you potentially want the biggest bang for your buck.
