Developer Ghost Town Games Ltd. and publisher Team17 Digital Ltd has announced the latest patch for Overcooked! 2. It's the Moon Harvest update, and it signifies the beginning of the Mid-Autumn festival, which is celebrated across China and East Asia. The update is available now on PC and consoles, and begins with Kevin the Dog and the Onion King welcoming the autumn season with three varieties of mooncakes. They are the traditional dessert for the celebrations, and there are also give new levels for players to cook something up, along with new lily pads that can barely hold a chef's weight.
The update will also be made available for the definitive edition for the Overcooked! series, Overcooked! All You Can Eat, which is coming to next-generation consoles next year.
Overcooked 2! is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. There's currently a franchise sale going on Steam, and if you want the Overcooked 2! Season Pass or any other Overcooked! games, be sure to check it out here. If you want to check out the game's Discord, Twitter, or Facebook pages, I've just linked them so go check them out.
Quick Take:
Overcooked! has always seemed like a series that I know I'll like but I've never gotten into. Eventually I'll come across it in a sale where it's so cheap that I'll have to buy it, especially if they're going to keep consistently updating it like they have been for years.
