Interactive narrative adventure Last Day of June is currently free on the Epic Games Store. Grab it before July 4th and it's yours to keep. After that, your free game will be Overcooked.

Last Day of June is based on a song by Porcupine Tree mastermind Steven Wilson. The game follows Carl and June, a couple whose relationship is sundered by a tragic car accident. June is killed in the accident and Carl must use a wheelchair to get around. One day, Carl realizes that by touching June's paintings, he can revisit the memories of those who were present on the day of the accident. You must help Carl to change the events of that fateful day and save June's life. We rather liked Last Day of June, so for the low, low price of free, you can't go far wrong.

From July 4th, you'll be able to get Overcooked free on the Epic Games Store. Overcooked is a frantic multiplayer cooking game in which you must rapidly prepare meals to exacting specifications and a punishing time limit. Serving orders to specification and on time will give you coins. Failing to do so won't lose your coins, but it will waste your time. There are around 28 kitchens in Overcooked, each of which is set in a crazy and unconventional locale. It's up to you to serve up the right meals to your customers and keep your kitchen coordinated. If you're not on board with the Epic Games Store, you can also grab Overcooked on Steam right now for 66% off.

All you need to claim your free game is an Epic Games Store account. Once you've got one, simply navigate to the game's store page and click the "FREE" button. The game will be added to your account. Once you've installed the Epic Games Launcher, you'll be ready to go.

Dark Souls changed my life, and I'm here to spread the good news. I like pretty much all sorts of games, but I judge everything by its proximity to our Lord and saviour, Dark Souls.
