A new Nintendo Indie World showcase has been announced, and it's airing tomorrow, so we'll soon get more info about upcoming Switch indie games.

In a post on the official Nintendo X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Nintendo reveals that a new showcase will air tomorrow at 9am Pacific. That's 12pm Eastern and around 5pm GMT.

As has been the case for previous Nintendo Indie World showcases, Nintendo intends to show "roughly 20 minutes of new announcements and updates" on indie games heading to Switch.

Previous Nintendo Indie World showcases have spotlighted games like Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

As usual, Nintendo hasn't given any indications as to what we can expect from the upcoming Indie World showcase.

Predictably enough, many appear to be hopeful for an announcement regarding Hollow Knight: Silksong, which was delayed beyond the first half of 2023 earlier this year.

Technically speaking, Nintendo hasn't established any kind of timeframe for the indie games it will be featuring, so although Silksong is an outside possibility, it could happen. Let's cross our fingers.

Could tomorrow be the day?

Since it seems we'll be getting some new announcements, some of the games at tomorrow's showcase likely won't be ones you're already familiar with.

Obviously, we also won't be getting news about Nintendo's upcoming first-party releases, like Super Mario RPG, and we also won't be hearing anything new about major studio games like Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince or Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Speaking personally, I'm pretty sure Silksong will be absent from the presentation. I'm hoping that by saying that, I'm jinxing it so that the game does appear.

In any case, we'll have to wait and see what Nintendo has in store for us. Indie World showcases often point up some interesting-looking releases, so there should be a few talking points, at the very least.

You can watch the showcase via Nintendo's official YouTube channel tomorrow at 9am Pacific (12pm Eastern, 5pm GMT). Stay tuned for more.
