A new Destiny 2 dungeon is launching today. Spire of the Watcher will task you with putting a stop to the machinations of the Vex, and will give you the chance to earn a round of new gear for your Guardian, as well as a new Seal and title to show off.

Naturally, if you don't want to know anything at all, it's best to stop reading here, but Bungie is remaining pretty tight-lipped about exactly what Spire of the Watcher has in store for you. Suffice it to say that you'll be entering a facility located on Mars in order to stop the Vex from preventing you from activating the Warmind Rasputin.

Spire of the Watcher is designed for a three-person fireteam, so grab your two best buddies and get ready to head in. You can earn a new armor set, four new Legendary weapons, and a new Exotic Bow with the rather intimidating name "Hierarchy of Needs". I'm not sure that's what Maslow meant, but hey, what do I know?

I hope your fireteam is ready to infiltrate the Spire of the Watcher.

As ever, Bungie is keeping a tight lid on things like mechanics and bosses, so you'll have to discover that stuff for yourself. However, if you think you're up to the challenge, there's also a "WANTED" Seal and title available in the new dungeon, which will in turn let you buy a Pin via Bungie Rewards.

Since dungeons released during the cycle of The Witch Queen aren't included in the Destiny 2 Season Pass, you'll either need to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of said expansion or the Dungeon Key, which costs 2,000 Silver. Buying these also grants access to Duality, the first Destiny 2 Year 5 dungeon, so it's not all bad.

You can play Destiny 2 for free right now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The game's newest expansion, Lightfall, is set to release in February, and was showcased at The Game Awards last night. It's going to have some pretty big shoes to fill, given how well-received The Witch Queen's campaign was. Watch this space for more Destiny 2 info.
