The Naraka: Bladepoint player count has hit 136,606 players just 9 hours after the final Naraka: Bladepoint beta launched as part of the Steam Next Fest earlier this morning.

Naraka: Bladepoint is an upcoming Battle Royale game that's a bit different from the first-person shooters — you play as a variety of ancient Asian warriors, fighting your enemies using melee weapons (and the occasional bit of magic). The final Naraka: Bladepoint beta has launched for the Steam Next Fest and it looks like it's been pretty darn popular so far.

The Naraka: Bladepoint Player Count is Still Going Strong

As Niko Partners Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad highlighted, the Naraka: Bladepoint player count peaked at over 130,000 players for its first day. The exact number of peak players was 136,606 according to SteamDB.info. That's pretty impressive, although it hasn't yet matched the success of a previous beta test — that one had 148,688 peak concurrent players according to a recent trailer revealed for E3 2021.

The number of concurrent players has started to decline since hitting the peak around 5 hours ago; there are just over 47,000 people playing the game at the time of writing. However, it's still the early afternoon on the East coast of the United States and we may very well see these numbers pick up again once more people finish up school and work.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
