Mojang has announced Minecraft Realms Plus, a replacement for their Minecraft Realms premium subscription service.
Let's get any major concerns out of the way: if you're currently subscribed to Minecraft Realms, you shouldn't be losing anything. In fact, you'll be gaining new content while also keeping your private server at the same great price. Check out this trailer to get a taste of what's new:
Minecraft Realms Plus will be available for every version of the game that has access to the Minecraft Marketplace. It will include pretty much everything you were already getting with Minecraft Realms along with more than 50 pieces of Minecraft Marketplace content, completely for free.
Of course, you'll also get a private server to play the game with your friends! You can invite as many people as you'd like, but you'll still only be able to play with a maximum of ten people at the same time.
