Microsoft Flight Simulator King Air C90 Announced;Two Montreal Airports & More Released

Microsoft Flight Simulator Montreal Airport

Today multiple new airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator have been released including a rather unique situation, while a legendary aircraft has been announced. 

Starting with the rather unique situation, two different renditions of Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (CYUL) in Canada have been released. 

The first is by MK Studios and it can be purchased on Orbx Direct, Simmarket, and Contrail starting at $18.77 including the following features:

  • Highly detailed and realistic rendition of Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (CYUL)
  • Airport elevation data based on high-quality LiDAR scan
  • Custom, 20cm/pixel satellite image covering the airport and the closest surroundings
  • Custom ground polygons with thousands of lines, markings, and dirt
  • Handcrafted 3D models of buildings, jetways, and airport facilities
  • Realistic lighting for immersive day and night operations

The second rendition is a collaboration between Amsim and Beautiful Model of the World, available on Orbx Direct for $19.14 promising the following features.

  • Detailed Terminal area
  • Animated Jetway
  • Custom ground markings
  • High-resolution custom ground textures, dirt, and other details
  • Surrounding buildings fully modeled
  • Custom runway guard lights
  • Parallax windows
  • Airlines codes assigned to each parking
  • Fully compatible with FSLTL traffic

Another airport was released by Feelthere, and it's Dallas Love Field (KDAL). It's available on Simmarket for $14.67.  You should keep in mind that it's a completely different rendition compared to the one released in April by iBlueYonder

It promises the following.

  • Highly detailed models with PBR texturing.
  • Complete ground polygon including all decals, lines, dirt and grime.
  • Custom animated jetways.
  • Improved night lighting and taxiway lighting.
  • Updated AFCAD including parking spots, taxiway names and signs, runways, and ground vehicle routing.
  • Multiple objects placed over the airport using the MSFS SDK.
 

Moving on to the aircraft, Pilot Experience Sim announced the legendary Beechcraft King Air C90. While further details weren't shared, we get to see the first images of the 3D model.
