Microsoft Flight Simulator - Japan Transocean Air 737 at Miyako Airport

Here's another daily dose of Microsoft Flight Simulator news, including an extensive update about an upcoming aircraft and a free airport.

We start with TFDi Design and its McDonnell Douglas MD-11, which today was the topic of an extensive Q&A video that also showcased the aircraft itself, including the flight deck alarms and more.

If you want to hear plenty of interesting details about the aircraft and take a look at the build currently in development, you can watch the video below.

Next is freeware developer Kaze, who released Miyako Airport (ROMY) in Japan. This lovely airport serving one of the southern islands of Okinawa prefecture comes with rather unique architecture worthy of a popular holiday destination.

Kaze is one of the best freeware developers for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and this is another high-quality scenery available on Flightsim.to. It's worth mentioning that a payware rendition of the airport is in the works by Gate15Scenery, and this is a completely separate project.

You can check out what it looks like below.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, on top of Game Pass. If you want to hear more about the sim's many upcoming add-ons, we advise to stay tuned on TechRaptor as we publish daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news on the topic to keep everyone up to date.

You can also read our interviews with Microsoft's Jorg Neumann about the Antonov An-225 "Mriya" and iniBuilds' CEO Ubaid Mussa on the activity of the popular third-party developer.

We also review add-ons, including Orbx's Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo Gardermoen AirportsiniBuilds' New York-JFK Airport, and RHDSimulations' Boeing 767-300ER.
