Third-party developers had news to share about upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, including aircraft and scenery.

We start with the Boeing 757 from BlueBird Simulations. While the possibility had been hinted at with the latest update, today we get the confirmation that the aircraft's release has been delayed until 2024.

In exchange, the developer promises increased fidelity and realism.

The 757 will not be released this year. But that is good news in the long term. We have a new scope of work on the systems that will increase the fidelity and add more realism. My promise to the community for a great 757 experience outweighs my release date prediction. We will not release the plane until we feel that it is as perfect as possible with in the realm of normal ( and SOME abnormal ) operations.

I don't like the term "study level" but if you are not familiar with the 757 or other 7XX aircraft then you will need to "study" to fly this bird correctly. The freighter expansion will only build upon this with more features. We have two dedicated 757 pilots who are obsessed with getting the fine details correct. As always I will do my best to be as transparent as possible. Thank you all as always for the support and feedback.

Next, we hear from PILOT'S GesmbH about the venerable de Havilland Canada Dash 7.

We get to see the full integration with Working Title's GNS 530 navigation avionics on the flight deck.

Lastly, we see a few new pictures of Gate15Scenery's upcoming Miyako Airport (ROMY), serving one of the southern islands of the Okinawa prefecture in Japan.

We also hear that the airport will include only partial terminal interiors to keep performance high, focusing on areas visible from the apron and the jetways.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, and you can also get it via Game Pass. If you'd like more info about the upcoming add-ons for the sim, you should check out TechRaptor regularly as we have daily Microsoft Flight Simulator news on the topic.

You can also enjoy our interviews with Microsoft's Jorg Neumann about the Antonov An-225 "Mriya" and iniBuilds' CEO Ubaid Mussa on the activity of the popular third-party developer.

On top of that, we have reviews of Orbx's Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo Gardermoen AirportsiniBuilds' New York-JFK Airport, and RHDSimulations' Boeing 767-300ER.
