Today Level-5 revealed two new trailers of its upcoming JRPG Decapolice.
The first video focuses on communicating the concept of the game, presenting story and characters, including the protagonist Harvard.
We also catch glimpses of gameplay and the features that this interesting JRPG will come with.
The second trailer is an introduction to the gameplay, which showcases an investigation as our hero looks for the culprit among a series of suspects.
After gathering clues and engaging in ddeduction gameplay, you can reveal the truth and identify the criminal. Yet, they won't go down easily. At that point, you'll have to fight them.
While the audio of both trailers is exclusively in Japanese, an English translation is provided, so we do get to understand what is said.
Decapolice was originally revealed during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year, and then showcased once again during the Level-5 Vision 2023 presentation.
It's part of a cross-media franchise, meaning that we're likely going to see its characters and stories in other form of media, likely an anime considering Level-5's usual modus operandi.
For the moment, we know that it's schedule to release in 2023 for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, but a release date has not been announced.
Decapolice will appear at Tokyo Game Show 2023 next week, and it's quite likely that we'll hear more then.
