Survival MMO Last Oasis has shuttered its servers for the next seven days. The devs are citing consistent server issues and asking players to give them time to fix those issues.
This news comes after the official Last Oasis Twitter account identified server issues at the time of the game's Early Access launch just a few days ago. Though the devs worked to fix the issues, they continued to crop up. Yesterday, Last Oasis' project lead took to Twitter to officially declare the servers closed for "roughly seven days" while the developers and coding staff fix the issue.
We are suspending Last Oasis servers for the next seven days. Full refunds will be offered regardless of your playtime.https://t.co/U6Ixhr1sDQ

In the YouTube video embedded in Donkey Crew's tweet, the game's project lead says the devs have decided on two major things regarding the server issues. First, the team has been working on the game "day and night" and needs to rest. Donkey Crew will be trying to figure out why its load testing didn't pick up the server issues, which is why the team needs some time dedicated to solving that issue.
The second thing is that everyone who's currently unhappy with the state of Last Oasis will be entitled to a full refund. This will apply regardless of how many hours you've spent playing the game. If you're encountering server issues with Last Oasis and you'd like your money back, all you need to do is head over to Steam and request a refund. Again, it doesn't matter how long you've spent playing; Donkey Crew says these server issues are "absolutely not how an Early Access game should launch", so everyone can get their money back.
We don't yet have a timeline beyond the next seven days for when Last Oasis servers will be back online. When service resumes on the game, we'll let you know. Until then, you can check out the game's official Steam page if you'd like a refund, or even just to register your interest.
