Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance recently received patch 1.5, which fixed a whopping two-hundred issues and bugs found within the game. Since the title launched, it's suffered from many performance and memory problems that have ranged from issues saving progress to bugs in the dialogue, to the game crashing altogether.
Patch 1.5 brings a range of new features and performance updates that will allow the gameplay to run smoother. Some of the new features players will find are:
- Henry can now wash away his sins by buying indulgences in churches.
- Physically simulated women’s clothing added.
- We scattered 16 new lore books around the world.
- Any forgotten or despawned quest items will now be moved to the gravedigger’s chest and the player will be notified via new quest “Lost and Found”.
The hit PRG has even more updates on the way, though, many of which will be showcased in a new DLC called "From the Ashes" at E3 next week. Fans already got a thirteen-second tease of "From the Ashes" during the end of the "Absolution" trailer Warhorse released earlier this week.
To fuel excitement for the DLC at E3 2018, the CEO at Warhorse, Martin Fryvaldsky, said in a press release:
We are all very proud on the performance of the game and delighted by the feedback we get from our fans every day. With the latest patch we are improving the game even further and look forward to the player’s reaction to it. And to tease a bit – fans can expect some further news around our upcoming DLCs at E3 2018.In a recent video, Kingdom Come: Deliverance's creative director, Daniel Vavra, takes us through the journey since the game released in early February. Vavra went on to explain the team at Warhorse is currently creating a series of documentaries that detail the development process for the game.
