If you love your Nintendo Switch and want more open-world RPGs on it, you're in luck, as Plaion just announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance is coming to the hybrid console.
The port is developed by Saber Interactive in collaboration with Warhorse Studios and doesn't have a specific release date besides "2024."
It'll also be a port of the Royal Edition and it will include all of the DLC released for the game on other platforms.
As for what it looks like, we'll have to extrapolate a bit, because Plaion did not release a trailer and we have only a few screenshots that seem to have been taken at absolutely random spots in the game to judge.
The good news is that the game will release on Nintendo Switch both digitally and on the physical shelves, so if you like cartridges and boxes, this one may be for you.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was originally released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in February 2018, and it was highly appreciated due to its storytelling, historical setting, and complex, unforgiving combat.
It's set in Bohemia in 1403 and places the player in the boots of Henry, son of a blacksmith suddenly involved in the tides of war after his parents are killed.
With the game already available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, if you want pure visuals, you may better off looking elsewhere, but if you prefer portability, there may be something here.
If you'd like to learn more about the game, you can take a look at our review of the original game, which awarded it with a 6.5 out of 10. Keep in mind that Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been improved massively after its original release, as it tends to happen with this kind of game.
It'll certainly be interesting to see if Saber Interactive will manage to deliver a good port. For now, we'll have to wait and see.
