Level-5 has announced the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road beta release date, finally giving players a chance to test out the long-awaited soccer RPG.

Per a post on the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, you'll be able to try out Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road in exactly one week from now, because the beta release date is March 28th.

Bear in mind that although the full game will be available across PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC, you'll only be able to access the beta on Nintendo Switch.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be available to try out very soon.

During the beta test, you'll be able to try out the game's Competition Mode and Story Mode features. Next week's beta will offer Competition Mode first, with Story Mode to follow at a later point.

You'll need to free up around 5GB of space on your Switch, so make sure you clear out a few games you're not playing or delete some software you don't use anymore.

Along with the beta release date announcement, Level-5 also released a brand new trailer for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, showing off some of the game's high-octane soccer action and anime cutscenes. You can check that trailer out right here.

Of course, the global release times for the beta will differ slightly depending on where in the world you are as well.

Some areas will get to play the beta earlier or later than others, so here's a map showing exactly when the beta will launch in your area.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is the latest in the Inazuma Eleven series of sports RPGs.

The game was revealed to be coming to the West back in March last year, and since then, we've gotten glimpses of its "evolved" gameplay systems, anime-inflected story, and range of characters.

While the game doesn't yet have a release date, you'll be able to try out the beta on Switch starting from March 28th. Stay tuned for more on this one.
