The release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is just around the corner, which means that it's time for Square Enix to flood Japanese TV with commercials.
As it often happens, the game received two different commercials for the Japanese market. The first focuses on the story, showing the characters and a glimpseof their interactions. It looks gorgeous and some of the scenes are certainly intriguing.
The second commercial is dedicated to battle and the world, and it's very action-packed, showing combo action between different playable characters, summons, and more.
Below you can enjoy the commercial dedicated to the story, starting with a really beautiful view of Aerith, albeit fans of Tifa will also enjoy seeing her back to back with Cloud ahead of a battle.
Speaking of back to back, Cloud and Sephiroth look quite cool in the second, more action-packed commercial as they get ready to strike with their iconic and massive swords.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirthis will release for PS5 on just over a week on February 29, 2024. Incidentally, you already pre-porder a physical copy on Amazon if you so wish.
If you want to take a look at more videos, you can find a story trailer and the "final" trailer alongside a lot gameplay showcased at the latest PlayStation State of Play broadcast.
That being said, if you have a PS5 you don't need to stick with just waiting. A playable demo is already available and will be updated with more content and even visual improvements on February 21.
