Vtubers have become a very popular way to promote new games, and Capcom's Exoprimal is no exception. The publisher has enlisted five popular talents from the Hololive team to showcase the game at launch.
Usada Pekora, Shishiro Botan, Tokoyami Towa, Yukihana Lamy, & Takane Lui will form a team on July 14 to slaughter inordinate amounts of dinosaurs. Each of them with stream the gameplay on their own YouTube channels starting at 8:00 pm Japan time.
Collaborations between Vtubers to play a game together are far from rare, but seeing five of them playing in a team is probably an event that will excite many fans.
In other Exoprimal news, just yesterday we got the gist of what is coming with the game's seasons after release, including a Monster Hunter collaboration that will happen in January 2024.
Exoprimal will release on July 14, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also come to Game Pass. If you'd like to know more, you can check out our hands-on preview. You can also take a look at a trailer featuring the theme song "Funky Jumping" by Japanese boy band Da-ice.
Incidentally, the game will also feature a recently-revealed Survival Pass reward system, which is basically the game's Battle Pass and will include both a free tier and a paid Premium Tier. We also heard about content and features that Capcom plans to add at and after release and saw a presentation by the game director.
