Capcom has released a trailer showing off what you can expect from the upcoming Exoprimal Monster Hunter crossover.

The collaboration, which was first teased back in July, will bring new cosmetics and armor for your dino-slayer, as well as an iconic monster to fight in the form of series mascot Rathalos.

You can expect the crossover to drop as part of Title Update 3, which doesn't have a release date yet. It follows on from the previous two updates, the first of which was released in August.

It's not just Rathalos making the jump to Exoprimal.

As well as getting the chance to fight Rathalos, you'll also be able to fight as Rajang thanks to a new Exosuit skin for Roadblock. Sadly, you won't get the chance to take on Rajang as an enemy.

The Monster Hunter-themed cosmetics combine the futuristic aesthetic of Exoprimal with the more low-tech, vibrant visual style of Monster Hunter, as you'd expect.

The Rathalos fight itself will take the form of an "epic new 10-player co-op Final Mission", according to Capcom, so it's going to take more than just you to bring it down.

We can't embed the trailer for the Exoprimal Monster Hunter crossover, since it's age-restricted, but you can check it out right here.

Rathalos promises to be a formidable foe in Exoprimal.

If you've missed the Exoprimal hype, it's a multiplayer dinosaur-slaying shooter created by Capcom.

The game features both PvP and PvE elements, with players fighting massive dinosaurs while also competing against other teams of players to complete objectives.

Capcom has promised robust post-launch support for Exoprimal, including regular seasons that add new content, crossovers with other Capcom titles (like this Monster Hunter collab), and more.

You can check out Exoprimal right now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. We don't yet have a release date for Title Update 3, but it could be a little while before it arrives, since Title Update 2 is just a couple of weeks old.

In his Exoprimal review, our very own Austin gave the game 7.5 out of 10, praising its satisfying gameplay but lamenting its uninteresting narrative and "frontloaded" repetition.
