Chorus, a dark-space shooter, has been revealed to be launching on December 3, 2021 by publisher Deep Silver and developer Fishlabs for Xbox Series X and Xbox One, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, PC via Epic Games Store, Steam, and Amazon Luna. In it, you can throw yourself into some space dogfights and kick some ass, but there's also more than that in Chorus. There's a story.
What's the deal with Chorus?
It looks like Deep Silver is developing a game with a fairly deep storyline, with the player placed in the space shoes of Nora, who was once the Circle's greatest and deadliest warrior and is now their most wanted fugitive. She's now on a mission to destroy the cult that created her with her sentient starfighter, Forsaken. They're both on a quest for redemption that will take them on a journey to across the journey and even on the "boundaries of reality", which sounds very trippy. Check out the trailer below:
Players can look forward to zero-g dogfights as they explore space stations and planes of existence beyond our own. As you get stronger you'll be able to acquire new and powerful weapons and abilities, which includes extra-sensory perception, teleportation and telekinesis. You'll need all the power you can get to take down the Circle's leader, the Great Prophet, who serves as a beacon for resistance forces to rally against and ultimately defeat.
If this all sounds swell to you, you can pre-order Chorus on it's main website and you can also pre-order it for $39.99 on Steam. If you want to know more about Chorus, there's also a preview that was just released earlier today, so be sure to check that out as well.
