Dark Souls 3 is the latest entry in the wildly popular Dark Souls franchise, and will be coming to the PS4 and PC. The game is said to be focussing on faster combat than the previous entries, making it feel closer to Bloodborne. Players will be able to fight off hordes of enemies with new weapons, new stances that give your character different abilities as well as a new, big open world. Dark Souls 3 will also introduce dedicated servers, allowing up to 6 players to join forces on their quest to take down the massive Lords of Cinder.

Quick Take

Even though I'm not that into Dark Souls (don't have the patience nor am I masochistic enough), I got to say that that that Collector's Edition is looking pretty darn fantastic. I've always liked the world design in the games, though. Maybe I'll try out this installment since the pacing has been upped a bit.

I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
