Today Bible X released a new video about its upcoming "bible exploration game" Gate Zero.
In the video, studio head Arve Solli visits RockPocket Games, which got the game running on Xbox Series X and PS5. While no optimization has been done yet, at least we see the game in motion.
It's worth mentioning that a console port of Gate Zero is not yet confirmed. The Xbox port and PS5 port (in this order) are marked as stretch goals and they're so far off that their actual monetary goals have not been revealed, but they're beyond €800.000. At the moment of this writing, the campaign has gathered €259,000 with 5 days to go on the clock.
Following the launch of the campaign, it reached its €200,000 goal very quickly (in 79 hours), but then it slowed down considerably. Reaching somewhere in the ballpark of a million Euros in five days is going to be a real Biblical challenge. We'll have to wait and see if a miracle happens.
The possibility also exists that the developer may decide to forgo the stretch goals and just release on console anyway even if they're not reached. You never know.
In the meanwhile, you can check the video out below and see if you find the game worth backing. Even if it doesn't end up on consoles, it's at least confirmed for PC with a target release window in December 2024. If you want to contribute, you can do so on the official Kickstarter campaign page.
