Today Entergram announced that it'll soon share details about the PC port of its popular visual novel Aquarium starring Vtuber Minato Aqua.
According to the announcement made on social media, details about the PC version, which was teased at the latest Comiket, will be shared next week on July 13.
Fans have been waiting for the reveal, as the visual novel was originally released last year only for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and many fans of the genre prefer playing on PC.
The game has gained quite a bit of popularity among the fans due to the presence of popular Hololive Vtuber Minato Aqua playing the heroine. In addition to her, Honshou Marine and Shirakami Fubuki also play relevant supporting roles. Below you can check out a trailer with the opening cutscene and song.
The visual novel tells a pure love story between a noble and his new maid Minato Aqua in a country similar to Western Europe. The player takes on the role of the hero, who is the heir of the noble Francois family. He falls in love with his beautiful maid who hides a secret.
Our hero has lost his memory and is often disturbed in his sleep by nightmares in which an unknown girl tells him that she hates him. After being told by his sisters that he's required to practice for his future role of leader of the family, he starts by providing guidance to his clumsy by providing her guidance and advice.
At the moment, we don't know whether the PC version will increase the chances of an English localization for the visual novel, which for now has only been released in Japanese. That being said, its heroines from Hololive are rather popular among Western fans as well, so we can at least hope.
In other visual novel news, the legendary game White Album: Memories like Falling Snow is finally coming in English after a wait that lasted many, many years. Hopefully, we won't have to wait that long for Aquarium.
