Today, during the first day of QuakeCon, AMD and Bethesda flexed the previously announced Starfield partnership with the announcement of a hardware bundle.
The bundle is a limited edition, with only 500 units being manufactured. It includes a custom-painted AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU.
Do keep in mind that the CPU itself isn't custom, only its box is. It's not like anyone would see any special paint job under your heat sink anyway.
On the other hand, the GPU comes in snazzy Starfield-themed colors and decorations. Of course, you may have to do some work on your case's illumination if you want said paintjob to be visible but that comes with the territory of custom GPUs.
You can see what I mean in the trailer below.
Starfield will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 6, 2023. If you'd like to see more about the game, you can take a look at the recent story trailer from a few days ago, a series of animated shorts, and the latest gameplay, on top of another trailer showcased a while ago. We also recently learned more details about companions, including which ones are available as romantic interests and the fact that the game supports going out on adventures without them.
Starfield was originally teased all the way back in 2018. It was supposed to release in November 2022, but it was then delayed to the first half of 2023, and then again to the current release date.
