Ahead of the Starfield direct, Bethesda snuck into the Xbox Games Showcase to show us some of the first Starfield gameplay as well as provide hints about the story.
In the trailer, we see that the character is wandering around the universe, and meeting a variety of characters and vistas. We see a robot dinosaur-type creature and a lot of other things in open worlds, as well as spaceships that are possible to go on and visit.
As for the story, there is a hint of something that is threatening the entire galaxy that only the main character can resolve. As part of Constellation, you are seeking to unravel a mystery, that seems to be centered around mysterious artifacts as Constellation is trying to uncover the secrets of the universe.
