Our Palworld Paldium Fragments Guide will go over how to find this key resource, including the best way to farm lots of it quickly.
How To Find Paldium Fragments
There are four ways to get Palworld Paldium Fragments in the early game, and you’ll want to be familiar with them all as you will need a lot of Pal Spheres throughout the game.
The first way to find Paldium is that some of it will be available out in the world in single chunks. You can see them on the ground and pick them up. These aren’t going to be a major source of Paldium for you, but can serve as a bit to help you going.
How to Mine Paldium Fragments
Mining is a major way to get Paldium Fragments, and there are two separate ways to directly get Paldium Fragments from mining in Palworld. Mining for stone is one of these ways, as you can get Paldium Fragments when you mine at a stone pile. This will produce a single Paldium Fragment after harvesting a certain amount of Stone (one per 10 Stone on normal difficulty), along with the stone you otherwise get.
It's important to note that the Stone Pit in your base does not produce Paldium Fragments when you or your Pals work at it.
To obtain Paldium Fragments more efficiently you can mine Paldium deposits. These come in two main forms, with the amount you get on mining them varying by difficulty. The most common is a small, blue deposit that you can find throughout the world. On normal difficulty, each of these will give 4-5 Paldium Fragments before being mined out, but that number can differ based on difficulty.
It is also possible to find larger deposits in parts of the world. In one underground dungeon, I found a large deposit and these function like the large stone and ore deposits, that can be mined a lot more and will decrease in size at several intervals.
The Easy Way To Farm Paldium Fragments
The best way to get Paldium Fragments in Palworld, in the early game at least, is to use the Crusher. Unlockable via the technology menu at level 8, the Crusher allows you to crush Stone down to find Paldium Fragments, at a rate of 5 Stone per fragment. To work the Stone, you need a Pal with at least level 1 Watering ability, which at the very least includes most Pals with the Water Element.
Some early Pals with the Watering ability include Teafant, Pengullet, Celaray, and Fuack. With the ability to leverage your Stone Pit that you can have pals working at, the Crusher serves as a solution to your early Palworld Paldium Fragment needs, and with your Pals help you should be able to turn it over to them almost autonomously with that.
