Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
First up is some new modeling releases from Games Workshop. The company recently released a series of urban-themed plastic bases modeled to match the company’s Sector Imperialis terrain. The bases come in almost every available size; the only outlier are the Imperial Knight-sized bases, which has a separate basing kit available for it. The company also released some additional paints to their line. Four new metallic paints and three glossy washes are available, as well as a trio of technical paints specifically designed for painting gemstones. The bases and paints are currently available for pre-order and will be available in stores on June 4th.
Outlaw Miniatures recently announced that pre-orders are now available for the Confederate Rebellion Terminator sidekicks for Wild West Exodus. The new models come with a trio of head options, allowing players to add some variety to their force. The models are cast in resin and will be available in a single blister for $24.99 USD and pre-orders will ship out on June 15th. Unit cards are currently available from the Outlaw Miniatures website.
Raging Heroes released the Iron Empire Snipers last week, further fleshing out the Toughest Girls In The Galaxy model lines. According to the company website, the Iron Empire combine Prussian and Germanic influences with some kind of Aegyptian cyber necromancy that allow them to raise the dead and create bio-mechanical aberrations. The unit box comes with three resin models for $22.24 USD.
Steamforged Games announced some new releases for the Hunters Guild faction of Guild Ball. Chaska and Seenah are now available as resin models, along with a set of Hunters Guild themed dice and a Guild Ball-themed bag from Battlefoam. The bag comes with enough foam trays to carry multiple Guild Ball teams, along with a single pluck foam tray for holding custom models and a pair of Benson boxes for storing dice, tokens, and various gaming accessories.
And finally, Warlord Games recently released the Sd.Kfz. 251/9 Ausf D Schützenpanzerwagen halftrack for Flames of War. The vehicle is designed primarily for transporting Panzergrenadiers to good firing positions in order to weaken enemy lines enough to allow infantry to break through. Basic unit stats are available in the article, and the unit itself is available from the Warlord Games web store for $32 USD.
