Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is only a couple of weeks away from its February 9th release. This DLC will give players access to a whole new area and even to a car to take on zombie foes. We already know that there will be more levels for your character to get stronger and even bounties for you to complete but today we're getting the opportunity to reveal the map, one tweet at a time.
Streaming on Twitch right now TechLand is showing a segmented map for The Following and a slot car track. When anyone on twitter tweets with the hashtag #TweetForSpeed the cars will continue on the track. The further the cars go slowly but surely the map is being revealed segment by segment. At the time of writing twelve of the hundred squares have been revealed.
To describe the event Dying Light's Community Manager Michal Napora gave the following statement:
The idea came from the current trend of connecting anything and everything to the internet. We thought why not let anyone with a Twitter handle use the hashtag #TweetForSpeed to make a real difference in the lives of all Dying Light fans. Every tweet with this hashtag will make our specially modified slot car go around on its track and by doing so, it reveals more parts from the new map of the upcoming Dying Light: The Following ahead of its release. The further the car goes, the more will be revealed of the map of the already highly anticipated Dying Light: The Following for the both the fans of the game and newcomers alike.
If the map on the stream is too small then you can also go to the TweetForSpeed website where a full version of the map is available. On this version of the map you can see the Locations, Safezones, Big Locations, and Places of Interest. As you click on these pins you will get name and image relating to the place. You'll have to keep checking back to see more information when more is revealed. There is now word on how long this event will be going on for but it's a great way for fans of the game to learn a little bit more about the world that they are hopping into again.
Dying Light is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC and the Enhanced Edition and The Following DLC will be available on the 9th of February. If you'd like to check out our review of Dying Light you may also do that.

This is an awesome idea and a fun way for fans to show just how much they want to learn every scrap of detail about the upcoming Dying Light DLC. Dying Light was one of my favorite games of 2015 and am proud to say I've 100% completed it so expect to see a tweet or two for you.
