October was officially our best month – ever. Thanks to the overwhelming support of both new and old readers, we hit a milestone in number of views! Because of that, and because we truly care about our readers and keeping them in the loop, I’m starting a brand new series that will come out on the 5th of every month! Welcome to The State of TechRaptor, where I’ll break down the previous month’s accomplishments and look to the future, so that everyone who reads TechRaptor can be informed of what we have going on!

The purpose of this is to really get our readers involved in our development, so that you’re with us every step of the way as we grow. Your input is INCREDIBLY important to us as we grow, because we want TechRaptor to be a site for everyone.

I’ll accompany this blog post with a video every month, which you can check out below!

So let me break the video down here as well, just to have a written account of it all:

October 2013 Pageviews: 20,336

October 2014 Pageviews: 353,898

That’s a HUGE change, and massive growth in a year. We’re so excited to be relied upon for news every day – it’s so awesome!

We’ve launched our new Podcast in October as well – The Weekly Respawn! Every Tuesday, you can expect a new episode hosted by myself or Travis (we switch off), which will be posted both on our site and on Soundcloud! Each podcast will focus on a specific topic, and we want to have fun while we analyze certain aspects of gaming! Please join us every week and offer suggestions for fun topics!

We now have nearly 60 writers on staff, and are pumping out about 50-75 articles/news a week! Because of that, we now have 6 days of weekly scheduled content too!!

Monday: To The Green – Don Parsons explores Greenlight games!

Tuesday: The Weekly Respawn – Our new podcast!

Wednesday: PC Builds – a new PC build by Ben Kuyt every week!

Thursday: Shoestring Gaming – Tabitha Dickerson helps you game on a budget!

Friday: This Week in Kickstarter – A look at the week’s most interesting Kickstarters!

Saturday: Being filled soon!

Sunday: Soundtrack Sundays – Seth Kellen brings some great soundtrack music to you!

Looking to November

We have a few things coming in November! Weekly Giveaways, which you can find here! On top of that, we’re pushing for more video content, because you have all been asking for it. Check in for weekly videos from a few of our excellent video makers!

Thank you!

Again, thank you for reading TechRaptor – we love interacting with you all, and can’t wait to keep growing! We’re working to change things every month, in an effort to better ourselves for you all! We’re here for you, and because of you!
