Today, Stories: The Path of Destinies developer Spearhead Games announced Omensight. Founded by veterans who worked on Assassin's Creed II, Dead Space 3, and the Army of TWO franchise, this studio will be bringing this time-twisting mystery to Steam in 2018.

The trailer shows the bodies of four characters who have presumably died in battle, each expressing doubt, willingness, or some form of reaction to the fact that you, the player, are the Harbinger, a "skilled warrior who exists outside of time."
The trailer ends with an ominously glowing character, looking over the bodies of the four warriors as a massive creature growls in the background. This is doubtlessly the trailer showing the viewer the end of the world or at least the trailer equivalent of a 'Game Over' screen.
As the Harbinger, the player arrives in the world of Urralia, determined to save it from annihilation and rewrite its fate. The player will identify characters who could have played a part in its destruction or its story, appearing beside them as they go through their final moments. The player has a choice of either fighting alongside them or against them.
Whenever the player participates, they will learn valuable information about why or how specific decisions unfolded from different perspectives. The player will use the power of 'Omensight' to save Urralia and give it a "second chance."
“When we released Stories: The Path of Destinies in 2016, we were thrilled with the response to its narrative structure,” says Malik Boukhira, Creative Director on Omensight. “Players told us how they enjoyed manipulating time to collect all the different endings in the game. With Omensight, our new original title set in a fresh universe, we’re taking this idea one step further. What we like to call the ‘narrative puzzle’ will extend to a range of diverse characters in Omensight, and we can’t wait to see how players navigate the intricacies of these characters’ actions and reactions to solve the mystery of Urralia’s demise.”Omensight will be released later this year, and you can add it to your Steam wishlist now.
