It appears that the upcoming Minecraft: Story Mode interactive show that was set to debut on Netflix a few days ago hasn't... well, debuted. The series is now listed as "Coming Soon" on the streaming service's website.

Minecraft: Story Mode was to be an interactive show aimed toward's the younger audience of Netflix. Viewers could watch along and make decisions at critical junctures in the show's plot in the style of choose your own adventure experiences.

As one of the final products being created by Telltale Games (creators of the Minecraft: Story Mode adventure game for PC and consoles), this show was liable to be the very last thing the company released. Unfortunately, it seems like it's missed its mark on getting out to the world on its announced date.

An article at New On Netflix has some additional details. New on Netflix contacted support and received a confirmation that it's been delayed. As for when we'll actually get to watch (play?) this show, the representative stated that "we intend to launch the title very soon!".

It seems like the kiddos and Minecraft fans in your house will have to wait a little longer until they can watch this show. We've reached out to Netflix for comment and will update things if we hear back from them. In the meantime, you can pick up the related adventure game by Telltale on Steam, the Humble Store, and GOG. You can also buy the game that started it all on Mojang's website (if you're one of the 17 people who doesn't own it yet).
