Trust me when I say you’ll want to possess the new Diablo III: Eternal Collection Bundle.

Puns aside, the partnership between Nintendo and Activision Blizzard is looking better and better with the announcement of this bundle for Diablo III, which includes a themed Nintendo Switch dock and console. Diablo’s magnificent head is painted on the back of the Switch screen while Heaven and Hell are in an intense scaring contest on the dock. Along with the custom console is a Diablo III Nintendo Switch carrying case with Blizzard’s logo on the back.

The bundle is complete with a digital copy of Diablo III: Eternal Collection. Included in the game is the Reaper of Souls expansion and the Rise of the Necromancer DLC. Exclusive to Nintendo Switch systems is a Cucco pet, Triforce portrait frame and a Ganondorf transmog set, which is based on his appearance in Twilight Princess. That’s right, you can show Diablo who the true Dark Lord is (Ganondorf, of course).

The bundle, releasing November 2nd, will set you back $359.99 and is only available to purchase at GameStop.

We’ve seen a fair bit of Diablo news lately, likely because Blizzard appears to be hyping up an announcement for a possible new installment to the franchise. New Diablo merchandise with the tag “Reign of Terror” appeared on the BlizzCon store recently, raising rumors that it could be a new game – but in a later statement, the company said it was only the name for the product line. Similarly, BusinessInsider reported that Blizzard is working on bringing crossplay to Diablo III with the upcoming release of the Switch version. A Blizzard representative told DuelShockers that this was not the case, so we’ll just have to wait and see come BlizzCon next month.

Quick Take

I love me some console bundles, and Nintendo usually does really good with them. What I like about this bundle is not only the case and console having a design on them, but a carrying case comes with it. It’s just a little bit extra that definitely says to me it’s worth it. If you don’t have a Switch yet and are interested in Diablo, this looks like the bundle for you.

Are you going to buy the bundle? Will you be getting Diablo III on the Switch? Let us know in the comments below!
