Staff Writer Jackson is currently learning his fourth language (Polish), enjoys lemon tea, and has angrily refuted claims of being "funny, witty, and/or amusing." Since 2018, he has refused to leave despite everyone's best efforts. He's like that old lady in Fort Greymoor.
Jackson's specialties include tabletop RPGs, horror, and the occasional (MMO)RPG. He's also dipped his toes into marketable gacha games to find out how far you can go without spending a dime. Jackson believes that people on a budget belong in video and tabletop gaming, and he is always on the lookout for a good deal to share with others.
Jackson has dabbled into entry-level game design and has plenty of years of experience using the RPG Maker series. His current project is mastering SRPG Studio, insisting that "we have Fire Emblem at home."
When not inundated with games, Jackosn cares for his lavender plant and his adopted son Alabama Nightcore. He also has a noted interest in Victorian-era and gaslamp fantasy. Rumors that he has written fanfiction for over 15 years are completely fabricated, and you'll never be able to prove otherwise. Find his other work on Dread XP or on his own personal blog (I Pressed It!).

Welcome to the Wolcen guide to skills! Skills in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem can be broken down into three broad categories: Warrior, Rogue, and Spell. Warrior skills require a melee weapon, Rogue skills require a pistol or bow (and sometimes allow daggers) and spells require a staff or catalyst to use. Note that not every melee or ranged skill has the warrior or rogue tag. If you want to purchase skills, Demetra in town sells them for 2,000 gold a pop starting in Act I. Her inventory rotates every 15 minutes, so if you don't see what you want at first, check back later.
