Nihon Falcom has released a brand new Ys X: Nordics trailer, and it's introducing some of the cast members you'll meet on your journey.

We've already gotten a couple of looks at some of the new characters joining the roster for Ys X: Nordics, but this new trailer is all about Adol, Karja, and their friends.

The trailer is, of course, entirely in Japanese, and unfortunately, it still doesn't contain any kind of Western release date. Still, it gives us a good idea of who we'll be fighting alongside if and when the game does eventually come West.

First up, we meet Adol Christin, longtime Ys series protagonist and adventurer. He's travelling the world with his loyal sidekick Dogi.

After Adol, it's fellow protagonist Karja's turn to be introduced. She's a pirate princess who's also the daughter of the Balta Navy's leader. We've already seen a little of how she and Adol will interact in combat and exploration.

Next, it's Grenn Berge, who's a Karnack neighborhood watch member. He looks like a feisty one.

After Grenn, we get to meet the "well-mannered and considerate" Rosalind Rusveri, who runs Rusveri Tavern. She's swiftly followed by Cruz Carpent, a quiet academic with a "surprising ability to take initiative".

Grenn and Cruz's childhood friend Rafe Evelies is up next. He seems like a dark and brooding sort, but he apparently "sometimes reveals his mature side".

Last but not least for today's character trailer, it's the caring nurse Mirabel Asrad, who's also a friend of Grenn. She's watched Grenn and his family grow up, so she's attached to them.

Ys X: Nordics is due to land on September 28th on PlayStation consoles and Nintendo Switch. It'll only feature Japanese audio for the time being, with a Western release still yet to be confirmed by Nihon Falcom. Watch this space.
