Hamster Maze

We Dig Games, a new development studio, has just announced Hamster Maze, an arcade game where you have to channel your inner eye of the tiger hamster to train like a champion and solve complex mazes.

Interestingly, you'd think that there aren't many hamster-inspired games out there or even hamsters in games, but there's a few. There's Hamsterdam, an action brawler on Steam, and there's also even Wrecking Ball in Overwatch, a AAA title. There's hamsters everywhere, it seems, and now Hamster Maze wants you to challenge other hamster aficionados online.

What is Hamster Maze?

After you're confident that your hamster is trained up, you compete with your little runny boi in a competition. This can be done against AI or against players online. The mazes themselves are created by the developers, famous hamster owners, and other players around the world. The goal? Complete the maze as fast as possible, of course.

That's not all you'll have to do, though. Outside of training and racing your hamster you'll have to look after it as well. This means you have to keep buying it new equipment, expand their house, and basically give your speedy speed demon the life it deserves.

Hamster Maze is releasing in Q1 2022 on PC and the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch. If you can't wait to let your hamster loose, be sure to stay tuned to TechRaptor and wishlist the game on Steam. If you can't wait until next year to get your Hamster game on, perhaps you can try out Rolling Hamster as well as the aforementioned titles?
