Another round of Xbox Game Pass titles has been announced, and although there's a ton of great entertainment incoming, a much-loved JRPG is also making its sad exit this month.

First up, as revealed last month, you can check out the rather excellent Like a Dragon: Ishin! on PC, console, and cloud starting today.

It's a spinoff that recasts familiar faces as samurai warriors in the late Edo period of Japanese history. If you're a Like a Dragon fan, chances are you'll love it.

On October 19th, F1 Manager 2023 hits PC, console, and cloud, letting you take your very own F1 team to victory. The game may have underperformed by Frontier's standards, but it should be well worth a look on Game Pass.

Cities: Skylines 2 hits Game Pass for PC on October 24th. A console release for the game was also originally planned for that date, but was subsequently delayed to spring 2024.

Cities: Skylines 2 is bringing new and improved city-building gameplay to Xbox Game Pass in October.

After that, on October 26th, the Dead Space remake is heading to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play. It'll be playable on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud.

Our very own Andrew Stretch awarded this remake 9 out of 10, pointing to its improved characterization and strong horror focus as reasons to check it out. Perfect for spooky season!

If you're not much for the scares, though, you can enjoy some good old-fashioned counterprogramming in the form of Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery, which is playable on console and cloud on October 26th.

Mineko's Night Market also lands on the same day, and it'll be playable across PC, console, and cloud. If you want something more lighthearted and less spooky, both of those games should fit the bill.

Two games are incoming on Halloween itself to see out October: Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and Jusant, both of which are available across PC, console, and cloud.

Several games are also departing Xbox Game Pass on October 31st, including a much-loved JRPG. I'd say make sure to check it out before it leaves, but I'm genuinely not sure you'd have the time to play through it.

Here's everything that's on its way out on Halloween.

  • Gunfire Reborn
  • Kill It With Fire
  • Persona 5 Royal
  • Signalis
  • Solasta: Crown of the Magister
