Xbox has unveiled the Xbox Game Pass August 2023 Wave 2 lineup, and while there aren't many surprises, it's a pretty solid showing.
Starting from today, space RPG Everspace 2 is available across cloud and Xbox Series X|S, so go strap yourself into your spaceship and get lootin'.
Following that, wilderness walking sim Firewatch hits PC, console, and cloud on August 17th. Get your magnifying glass ready, because there's a mystery to solve out in Wyoming, and hey - it might just help you find a new connection with the outdoors.
August 18th sees the release of the rather disturbing-looking The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, again on PC, console, and cloud. Probably safe to avoid that one if you're looking for a cozy adventure.
Radio silence follows for a week and a half or so, after which the retro-inspired RPG Sea of Stars lands on Game Pass for PC, console, and cloud. This one's gone gold, too, so there aren't likely to be any more delays.
After Sea of Stars, the final Xbox Game Pass game heading to the service as part of this August 2023 second wave is Gris, although the emotionally evocative platformer technically lands on PC, console, and cloud on September 5th.
