Publisher Toplitz Productions and developer Mehuman Games announced Vampire Dynasty, a brand new game of the "Dynasty" series.
The game will place the players in the fanged role of vampres in the fictional medieval region of Sangavia in the Balkans, where they'll be able to build their legacy as vampires either in single-player of 4-player co-op.
It'll come to PC via Steam in 2024 and the listing page is already available for your wishlisting pleasure.
The announcement was accompanied by a trailer focusing mostly on cutscenes, albeit some gameplay screenshots have also been published on Steam.
We get to see how players can build their own magnificent castles and stalk the night in search of prey, becoming either magnanimous rulers or terrifying tyrants.
You can check out the trailer below.
On top of the open world and the building features, players will be able to enjoy a follower system that will let them form their band of thralls and use superhuman powers. Among there, the game features the inevitable classic vampire ability of flying as a bat, which certainly pairs very well with an open-world game.
If you're unfamiliar with the Dynasty macro-series, it's a group of open-world simulation games published by Toplitz Productions and developed by a variety of studios.
They have a wide variety of gameplay mechanics (reflecting their different developers) and settings, including historical like Medieval Dynasty, Wild West Dynasty, or Sengoku Dynasty, or modern like Farmer's Dynasty and Lumberjack Dynasty.
That being said, they also have elements in common like the vast open worlds and extensive crafting and village building systems.
They're often pretty popular due to their wide open world and freeform gameplay. It'll be interesting to see if Vampire Dynasty will find its own niche. The topic is certainly quite popular, so I wouldn't be surprised.
