Today NIS America released a new trailer and the release dates of the PS5 and PS4 versions of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten.

We learn that the game will launch in North America and Europe for PlayStation platforms respectively on September 5 and September 8, 2023.

The trailer focuses on showing the gameplay of this JRPG. While it's a prologue of the popular Utawarerumono franchise by Aquaplus, it's definitely very different.

You can check out just how different it is in the trailer below.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten has followed a rather weird path to the west, as the PC version was released day and date with the Japanese version in November 2022 on Steam with a localization done by Shiravune. The game was released in Japan for PS5, PS4, and PC, but the console versions were not brought over, until now.

Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is a prequel to the original games, providing a look at the young years of many of the series' beloved characters.
