Update April 9th 12:07PM: Ubisoft has released the Star Wars Outlaws story trailer, and that August 30th release date was indeed legitimate.
The story trailer introduces us to protagonist Kay Vess, and the "new, rich, and lethal" crime syndicate she crosses. We also get to see some characteristically colorful and outlandish Star Wars locations.

Original story: Ubisoft appears to have leaked the Star Wars Outlaws release date just a few hours before a new trailer for the game is set to debut.
Later today, the Star Wars Outlaws Official Story Trailer will reveal what we can expect from the upcoming open-world game's narrative, but it seems that trailer may also contain a release date as well, at least if Ubisoft Japan's YouTube page is anything to go by.
In the description for the Japanese version of the trailer (which has since been changed), a release date of August 30th can clearly be seen, along with a host of pre-order bonuses for the game. Naturally, the English-language page for the trailer gives no such information away.
The release date was spotted by Japanese gaming news source Renka, as well as Gematsu and a number of others, before it was removed. Whoops.
It's likely that the full release date for Star Wars Outlaws will be unveiled later on during the premiere of the story trailer, so we probably won't have to wait too long before we get confirmation that August 30th is, indeed, the day we'll get to enjoy what Ubisoft is calling "the first ever open-world Star Wars game".

Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world action-adventure game set in (what else?) the Star Wars universe. You'll take the role of scoundrel Kay Vess, who must navigate a galaxy full of danger and intrigue while evading capture by the Empire and the galaxy's organized crime outfits.
When the game was announced last year, we also got a look at some base infiltration gameplay, which seamlessly moves from stealthing through a facility to a thrilling high-speed escape sequence on a speeder bike.
Let's hope Star Wars Outlaws can match the excitement of that trailer when it launches, presumably on August 30th. Watch this space for more.
