Spy x Family fans have been curious about the upcoming game SPYxANYA: Operation Memories since its reveal at the latest Nintendo Direct, and today Bandai Namco revealed its gameplay loop.

The goal of the game is to create a photo diary for Anya, who has received the task as an assignment as school. As usual, she's taking it incredibly seriously.

You create memories at home with the Forger family, and they will appear on Anya's diary. You can also do the same at Eden College.

On weekends, you can dress Anya up in special outfits and enjoy outings with the family, traveling to many places from the anime's world.

Of course, pictures from these outings will also go in the diary. The trailer showcases various minigames that you need to complete in order to get your pictures.

You can check it out below, but beware, it's as hilariously cute as you'd expect. I honestly don't know how much gameplay depth this title will have, but I suspect most fans of the series won't care.

SPYxANYA: Operation Memories releases in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

If you're unfamiliar with the IP, it debuted in 2019 on the pages of Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ and it's still ongoing. It also generated a fan-favorite anime series the first season of which has been highly rated.

The second cour has just started last week, and it will bring another 12 episodes throughout the fall Anime season.

A collaboration with Street Fighter 6 has also been announced a few weeks ago, but not yet detailed.
