A little bug has manifested itself on the The Division servers, and it's locking out a few players from accessing the game, with some players saying they've not been able to play the game for at least a few days.
This bug seems to be directly related to the game's crafting system, where sometimes crafting a high-end backpack may result in you longer being able to log into the game after getting stuck on the crafting menu. This bug has been reported quite a few times over the past few days over on the subreddit for The Division and Ubisoft is now busy collecting data to address this issue. If you've been affected by this you may want to head on over to the official The Division forums and fill out the questionnaire provided for you. Ubisoft is asking you to send them the platform you're experiencing this bug on, how long you've been having trouble logging in, whether you've crafted a high-end backpack or have had any issues with items disappearing from your inventory and tell them if you've had any error codes while playing the game.

Ubisoft is, obviously, aware of this issue now and it seems like they are working on deploying a fix to live servers as soon as possible.
Developer Ubisoft Massive also recently deployed a patch that removed named enemies from the world after you kill them. This was done because players found a loophole with the Bullet King, an NPC that would drop a guaranteed superior-quality gun whenever he was killed. Players could reset his spawn by killing the Bullet King and all but one member of his posse, running back into the nearby safehouse and running back out again, which respawned the NPC in question immediately. They also added more incentives for players to go rogue in the game's PvP area. You can check out those patch notes right here.
