Paradox Tectonic released another video of the upcoming simulation game and The Sims competitor Life by You.
The video is presented directly by studio head Rod Humble, whom you may know for his works on The Sims series and on Second Life.
This time around we get to take another look at the tiering system showcased in the previous video, but more interestingly, Humble shows off a metric ton of clothes. It appears that fashionistas will have a lot of room to express themselves in Life by You.
On top of that, we learn that the developers listened to feedback and will implement three tiers of initial capital for your Humans, albeit you can simply give yourself as much money as you want if you'd like.
Lastly, the video showcases more gameplay focused on a store, and we learn that kids can actually play pranks like unplugging a monitor and similar actions.
You can watch the video below.
Life by You will be released in early access for PC on March 5, 2024. It was recently delayed by several months following the initial announcement, which indicated a launch this month.
If you want to learn more about the game, you can read my own preview, as I took an extensive look at the game at Gamescom in Cologne. It definitely has the potential to be a serious competitor for The Sims series, and hopefully, it'll live up to that potential. The genre could definitely use a shake-up.
