Today is a good day for those who want to see and learn more about the upcoming action JRPG Reynatis revealed a few days ago by Furyu.

First of all, we get an English-subtitled version of the extended trailer released last week providing a better look at the game's storytelling.

The trailer was released by NIS America, which will publish Reynatis in the West

A very familiar location in the backstreets of Shibuya.

You can watch the trailer below and get to know the two protagonists, Marin and Sari, who will provide two different points of view for the narrative.

The second interesting reveal comes from FuRyu itself in the form of an extensive livestream from Japan.

Presented by the director and three of the game's voice actors, we get to see an extensive segment exploring Shibuya, showcasing plenty of landmarks and iconic backstreet areas that will prove very familiar to those who have visited the real town.

Another segment showcases the World of Another, also showing off plenty of combat gameplay. It's a parallel fantasy world permeated by magic that serves as an additional segment to Shibuya.

You can watch the whole livestream below.

If you're unfamiliar with Reynatis, it was announced at the latest Nintendo Direct partner showcase, albeit it was skipped in the Western version for unfathomable reasons (especially since it was one of the coolest games on the show), only for the localization to be announced by NIS America a few days later.

The game takes advantage of a rather star-spangled staff, being written by Kazushige Nojima, writer of many Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games, including the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The music is composed by Yoko Shimomura, whom you may know for her work on the same series and more.

The character design is by illustrator Yasutaka Kaburagi while Takmumi Isobe of Trinity Trigger fame is the creative producer and director.

Reynatis releases in Japan on July 25, 2024, for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, and in the west this Fall 2024 for the same platforms plus PC via Steam
