Today Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games released another trailer dedicated to the world of upcoming game Remnant 2.
This time around we get to see another of the areas of the game, named N’Erud. It's a massive construct that can traverse the universe at incredible speeds. It used to be home to the Drzyr, who discovered a supermassive black hole that may be the key to the mysteries of creation. Unfortunately, their fate is unknown.
One thing is for sure. The folks at Gunfire Games really know how to design eerie environments tah both look creepy and fascinating.
You can check the trailer out on the official YouTube channel since it can't be embedded.
If you're unfamiliar with Remnant 2, it's the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, mixing melee and ranged combat with exploration, challenging enemies, and epic boss battles. While it's a Souls-like action-adventure RPG, it comes with an interesting twist. Instead of fighting exclusively with melee weapons and spells, players have an arsenal of firearms at their disposal, which is definitely a departure from the tropes created by most Souls games.
The game will release in the summer of 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. if you'd like to see more, you can check out another trailer showing off the game's eerie's but beautiful world, one focusing on the handler archetype, and one showcasing the Fae, one showcasing the Champion, and another showing off the Medic archetype.
