The Pokemon Company has announced a new Pokemon Presents showcase just in time for this year's Pokemon Day.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the company invites fans to tune into the official Pokemon YouTube channel on February 27th, which is next Tuesday, for new information regarding upcoming Pokemon projects.

Naturally, The Pokemon Company isn't giving anything away regarding what's actually coming; as ever, it's playing its cards close to its chest, so you'll have to tune in if you want to know what's happening.

While we don't know what will be announced during next week's Pokemon Presents showcase, we can look to previous presentations for a general idea.

During last February's Pokemon Presents, for instance, we learned that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet would get story DLC, and we also got reveals for Pokemon Sleep and the animated series Pokemon Concierge.

Another Pokemon Presents showcase in August gave us release dates for the aforementioned Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, as well as showing off another new animated series by the name of Pokemon: Paldean Winds.

Previous Pokemon Presents showcases have also revealed new Pokemon animated shows.

It's presumed that the next major game in the Pokemon series will likely land on the next Switch console, which doesn't have a name or a release date yet (and which hasn't even technically been announced).

There's a decent chance, however, that we'll get an announcement for remakes of Pokemon Black and White, since remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were released in 2021.

Additionally, earlier this month, the official Pokemon X account posted a GIF of the player facing off against Mewtwo in the original Pokemon Red and Blue, suggesting that re-releases of those games could be heading to Nintendo Switch Online.

Of course, we'll have to wait and see what's actually going to be announced. The next Pokemon Presents airs on February 27th at 9am Eastern (that's 6am Pacific and around 2pm GMT).
